Exostar is promoting Amy Hogan to the role of Chief Information Officer (CIO). Hogan is the first to hold that post in the company’s 26-year history.

Exostar specializes in business collaboration software trusted by highly regulated industries—like life sciences and healthcare—for security and compliance.

From VP to Chief Information Officer

Previously, Hogan was Exostar’s Vice President of Enterprise Systems & Solutions. In this position, the company says, she led a number of enterprise transformation initiatives. According to Exostar, these strengthened scalability, governance, and operational discipline across business systems, DevOps platforms, corporate IT, and enterprise analytics.

Now, Hogan will oversee not only corporate IT, but also enterprise technology strategy and platform enablement. Across the Exostar Platform, she will partner with product and engineering leaders to accelerate innovation and performance at scale.

On the financial end of things, Hogan will also be responsible for ensuring that technology investments support differentiated offerings.

Exostar has a global network of more than 1 million active users. Hogan’s promotion comes as the company tries to spur growth and new value as an Arlington Capital Partners portfolio company.

“Exostar sits at the center of the most security-sensitive supply chains in the world,” Hogan said. “Our platform and network represent extraordinary assets. As CIO, I will focus intently on harnessing AI and other emerging technologies to realize even greater efficiency and insights.”

Exostar President and CEO Richard Addi also reacted to the promotion.

“Amy has consistently demonstrated the qualities any organization would want in an executive: leadership, dedication, innovation, and connection,” Addi said. “She has evangelized, championed, and implemented technological transformation efforts that have raised operational efficiency and opened new revenue streams. Amy will be a driving force in our next chapter of corporate expansion.”
