Chris Van Norman is the Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Operations, where he leads the company’s operational strategy and execution for pharmaceutical distribution. He oversees the movement of brand, generic and specialty medications through 30-plus distribution centers and eight central fill locations. Chris also leads teams responsible for key functions such as transportation, inventory planning, network design, customer support, data and insights, and quality/regulatory compliance. Most recently, Chris served as Vice President of Distribution, where he led a team of 6,000 associates across all functions within the distribution network, transportation and engineering. Since joining McKesson in 2007, Chris has held a variety of leadership roles, from Senior Industrial Engineer to Director of Operations for multiple distribution centers. He later served as Vice President of Strategic Operations, overseeing all distribution efforts. His leadership has been recognized with two President’s Club Awards and the Sigma Champion Award for his commitment to operational excellence. Chris also led the NRDC when the team received the Outstanding Achievement Award, honoring their dedication and resilience throughout 2019-2020. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University.
